April 2007

Long time no see. The new album "Solstice" will be released in july 2007. It consists of 8 new tracks, and 4 tracks previously released through the laidback electronica label. You can watch the promovid here:

"Solstice" sounds very melancholic. There are more techno and electro influences present. People into Booka shade and Abfahrt hinwil might like this one as well. Album price will be 5 or 6 euro. Yes that's cheap, but i have to move these boxes.

July 2004:

The release on Laidback electronica is out. Go here to download the tracks as 192 kbs mp3, and the artwork. Also work has started on the new album with working title "Dogun teatime"

March 2004:

Since a few weeks i am working on new material. This year will probably see two releases. First up will be a web release through the laidback electronica label . This will most probably an EP release with some 4 or 5 songs on it. If it is ready, you can download the tracks as high quality mp3, from the laidback electronica website, as well as the artwork, and make yourself a fine Kratarknathrak EP. Title for the EP might be "Retrograad EP"
Later this year (somewhere in the summer) you can expect a limited LP release entitled "Dogun teatime". This is supposed to be a dark and occult release, whereas "Retrograad EP" is more laidback and relaxing. Some songs from the upcoming releases can be listened on the soundclick mp3 site. Check them out! Titles are "Retrograde zomer", "Cruising with DrPhlox" and "Dogun teatime".

Oktober 2003:

A remix has been made for Grendel. I choose the song "Dream" from the upcoming very fine album "Prescription medicide". Unfortunately Black Rain though that the remix was to strange for the remix disc with the limited edition of the new Grendel album, but it might be released on a compilation album sometime. Watch the sky for details.

February 2003:

The LP is out, and is selling well. We still need a distribution, so if anybody is interested. Drop us a line. The LP can be found in shops at:
Rush hour, Amsterdam
Staalplaat, Amsterdam
Lalaland, Den Haag
Trancentral, Haarlem
Plaatboef, Haarlem
Clone, Rotterdam.
More coming up!

Work started on some new tracks. Still to early on what's happening next, but work is in progress for a 2003 LP/EP release. Wait and see. Working title is: "Voedselveiligheid" (food safety)

One Kratarknathrak track might be on the next Dutchgothic compilation CD. The title is "Temple of the fire-ants". Watch out for this one, because it's limited to 50 copies.

December 2002:

The first Kratarknathrak LP "Perpetual Motion Machine" will be available from mid january. Those who pre-ordered the album will get a copy of the extremely limited "A chronology of losers" CDr with the LP.

The remix CD from Noise Process: "Synapse (the dead world EP)" will include a Kratarknathrak remix of the song "Dead world". The remix is entitled "Dream of european deserts mix"
